UNLV School of Broadcasting tour by Media All-Stars

The UNLV School of Broadcasting and Media Arts hosted the JD Smith Middle School Media All-Stars on February 25th. The UNLV professors and staff members showed the students the new Greenspun Hall and the great technology & features within the brand new building. The Media All-Stars also got to experiment with the new Mac Computers at the Mac Lab at Greenspun Hall. In addition, the UNLV staff presented a mini press conference and "question & answer session" to encourage the students to learn about the educational & career opportunities that exist right here in Las Vegas. The students learned about scholarships, job duties, college prep classes, and also a call to maintain good grades. Mary Hausch (UNLV Professor), Michael Piper (UNLV Engineer), and other UNLV student advisors all presented and acted as tour guides to the Media All-Stars. Thanks UNLV for a great tour! The students learned a lot and had fun, too!
